Humphreys University, a private nonprofit institution located near the Northern Bay Area in Stockton, has been accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (one of the top six regional accrediting bodies in the U.S.) since 1992.

Important Update 

On March 8, 2022, the WSCUC (Western Senior College and University Commission) issued a formal warning to Humphreys University. The university was required to develop an overall academic plan to ensure effective course review and distribution to maintain academic quality, rebalance class sizes with faculty workload, and establish systems for faculty development and student assignment assessment.

Humphreys University faced the possibility of losing its accreditation if it did not make satisfactory improvements within two years. Fortunately, after two years of dedicated efforts, the university received great news on July 18, 2024—WSCUC officially lifted its warning and restored full accreditation status to Humphreys University, valid until 2030!

Day 1 CPT MBA Programs 

The university offers two programs that support Day 1 CPT for off-campus work/internships:

• MBA in Information Technology (MBA-IT)
• MBA in Organizational Leadership

These 27-month MBA programs are designed for working professionals:

• Affordable Tuition: Only $3,000 per quarter, totaling $21,000 for the entire program.
• Immediate CPT Eligibility: Eligible for CPT work authorization up to 30 days before the program starts.
• Convenient Schedule: One weekend of on-campus classes per quarter.
• No GRE/GMAT Required: Streamlined admissions process.

Tuition 

$3,000 per quarter, payable in full before the start of each term. The total cost of the program is $21,000.

Hybrid Course Schedule

Students attend a two-day on-campus session (Saturday and Sunday) once per quarter. The rest of the time, courses are conducted online through the university’s learning management system. Two courses are supposed to be taken each quarter in a hybrid format, including some mandatory in-person sessions. Mandatory annual school breaks are provided in the 4th and 8th quarters, during which students may still use their CPT.
