CPT Policies
- NLU University supports Transfer F1 students and Initial F1 students in using Day-1 CPT.
- To use CPT, students need to register for a course each semester.
- Each CPT approval is valid for one year and can be seamlessly renewed upon expiration. Job or employer changes require notification and application through the school.
- Failure to attend in-person classes, submit assignments, or cheating on exams will result in the revocation of CPT and, in severe cases, expulsion.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher must be maintained, as falling below this can affect future CPT applications.
