- There are 3 semesters each year, and there are 2 intakes in each semester.

CPT Policies
- CiAM requires students to complete at least one semester of internship before graduation.
- CiAM supports Transfer F1 and Initial F1 students in using Day-1 CPT.
- Each CPT application can be valid for one semester.
- On-site class attendance is mandatory; failure to attend may affect the normal use of CPT.
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher is necessary to retain Full-time F1 status and continue renewing CPT.
- If the student has already been an F1 student for over a year, they can apply to start CPT from the first day of the class. Otherwise, for initial F1 and those who haven’t been a F1 student for a year, they can apply for CPT as soon as the third semester at CiAM
- Usually CPT can be approved in a week. If the student cannot present a CPT agreement signed by the employer, they can contact us and we can help negotiate with the school to waive CPT agreement.
